Amy advises across PPHE Hotel Group’s international portfolio, including curated lifestyle brand art’otel, Park Plaza, Holmes Hotel and partner brands Radisson Collection and Radisson RED. Amy advises on the full spectrum of hotel-related work reflecting PPHE’s buy build operate model, including complex cross-border transactions, HMAs and strategic partnerships. Amy supports stakeholders across the business including Development, Procurement, Marketing and IT and advises at Board level. Before joining PPHE, Amy was a private practice Corporate M&A lawyer at Trowers & Hamlins in London, where she spent time in Abu Dhabi and 18 months on secondment to ADNOC.
James Hanlon is the General Counsel, Company Secretary and Chief People Officer for Treatwell, a privately owned beauty tech SAAS marketplace headquartered in London. James has led the company through its growth managing both its legal,compliance and people teams across Europe. Before joining Treatwell, James was General Counsel and Company Secretary for IKEA North America in the retail, tech and renewable space and Head of Legal for CBS in the financial services sector. James is also a non-executive director of the V & A Dundee- Scotland and is a practising barrister.
Melanie is Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Commercial & Licensing at COTY, one of the world’s largest and most iconic beauty companies. With nearly 30 years of experience, she leads COTY’s global Commercial Legal team, helping the business navigate complex regulatory and commercial challenges while supporting creativity, transformation and growth.
A solicitor qualified in England and Wales, Melanie began her career at FRESHFIELDS as a competition lawyer before moving into the fast-moving world of FMCG with MARS and WRIGLEY. There, she held a series of senior legal and compliance roles, developing a deep understanding of global business and brand-building. Almost a decade ago, she brought this experience into the beauty industry — where her love of brands, innovation, and storytelling truly came together.
Having lived and worked across Europe — including France, the Netherlands, and Germany — Melanie now calls London home. She is passionate about beauty, and deeply interested in the arts, fashion and travel, which continue to inspire her both personally and professionally.
