Rebecca is a General Counsel with over 15 years’ experience advising businesses in the fashion, retail and luxury sectors. In her current role, she leads the legal function at MATCHES, a luxury multichannel retailer which curates and sells an edit of over 450 designers, including its renowned in-house label, RAEY. Prior to joining MATCHES, Rebecca spent 8 years at the FTSE-listed global fashion e-tailer, ASOS. During her tenure, Rebecca headed up two divisions of the legal team and saw the business grow to nearly £4bn revenue. Rebecca started her career at international law firm, DLA Piper, where she co-founded the firm’s global Fashion, Retail & Design sector group and advised clients ranging from European fashion houses to luxury hotel groups. Outside fee-earning, Rebecca mentored emerging designers through a firm partnership with the British Fashion Council and gave legal training to students at Central Saint Martin's.
