Mary Gehlhar is an educator, consultant and author of The Fashion Designer Survival Guide, the best-selling book which guides designers through the challenges of starting a fashion brand. Mary served for 10 years as Fashion Director of Gen Art supporting hundreds of designers nationwide. She led the selection process for the first four seasons of Bravo’s Project Runwayand also served as faculty at the Parsons School of Design. With an emphasis on sustainability, Mary is a frequent speaker at fashion schools and events, a Fellow with the Nest Artisan Guild and Advisory Member for the United Nations Conscious Fashion and Lifestyle Network
