Maria J. Ayerbe is Vice President & Legal Counsel, Travel Retail Worldwide at The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. acting as the functional head for legal for the Travel Retail Worldwide business unit where she leverages her extensive expertise and experience. Maria offers a deep business understanding and provides top line strategic support to the entire Travel Retail Leadership team, while also managing day to day matters across all subregions.

Since joining ELC in 2014, Maria has held various roles within the Legal Department and provided strategic legal guidance along with process optimization solutions to drive growth.

Earlier in her career, Maria was an Associate at Fox Horan and Camerini LLP and Davis & Gilbert LLP in New York as well as leading law firms in Colombia, where she is from. She is a graduate of Fordham University School of Law and Universidad de Los Andes.
