Sara Citterio is a qualified Italian lawyer with a substantial in-house experience, mainly in IP, compliance and corporate matters, litigation and strategic commercial deals. She’s has been working for the brand Trussardi for over 23 years and she is currently in charge with the brand’s legal affairs, including intellectual property and sustainability. Before joining Trussardi, she spent several years at a private non-profit organization operating in the health sector serving as Legal Counsel and Assistant General Counsel focusing on healthcare law.

Sara graduated in International Law, and she is a regular panellist at legal seminars. She’s a visiting lecturer at the Fashion Law Master at the Luiss University in Rome and at the Catholic University in Milan. She was included in several editions of TheLegal500 GC Powerlist Italy and she was also featured in the last six editions of WTR 300: The World’s Leading Corporate Trademark Professionals. In 2019 and 2022 she was awarded as In-House Counsel of the year of the Fashion, Luxury and Design category by the Italian legal magazine Inhousecommunity.
