Valentina Ranno started her career in an international law firm and is currently General Counsel of L'Oréal Italia as well as being the secretary of the board of directors.

She is part of the management board of L'Oréal Italia.

She is head of internal compliance and also manages Ethics and Human Rights for the company.

She is a member of the board of directors at the Istituto di Autodisciplina Pubblicitaria (Institute for Self-Regulatory Advertising) and she is a member of various Italian advertising and legal legal commissions.

She has been in charge of employee education regarding advertising, compliance and antitrust at L'Oréal Italia for a number of years.

She is a keynote speaker at various events organized by the italian legal community.
