Jim Coleman is a global expert in economic advisory with almost 30 years’ experience. He envisions economic futures for cities and regions based on specialised industry-sectors, low carbon innovation and urban technology. As Head of Economics at WSP, Jim steers the strategic growth and development of WSP’s global Economics practice. He was previously head of Economics at BuroHappold and has spent time at Aecom, Hatch/Regeneris and Cushman & Wakefield. He regularly works at ministerial and sometimes prime ministerial level in different countries and also provides expert economic advice to corporate organisations, investors and to international development agencies, including the World Bank and the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). He is also currently a professor in the School of Architecture & Cities, University of Westminster.
