Frederick Fischer, Managing Director of Lalique UK was born in Paris but his family is from Alsace very close to the Lalique factory.
He started his career as a journalist having studied at the Ecole Francaise des Attaches de Presse and worked on various design and lifestyle magazines but caught the retail bug at Louis Vuitton in Paris where he worked at weekends and was offered a permanent job.
Frederick joined Lalique in 2000 and 'never looked back'.
Since moving to London – sent from Paris to ‘rescue’ the Sloane Street Lalique Boutique, Frederick has opened 6 new Lalique UK stores – Burlington Arcade, Conduit Street, Bicester Village, Harrods, The Glenturret Scotland and the first Lalique Art Gallery in the world in London’s Burlington Arcade
