Prof. dr. Annick Schramme is a professor at the University of Antwerp (Faculty of Business and Economics), responsible for the Masters program in Cultural Management and a yearly summerschool in fashion management in collaboration with IFM in Paris. In 2018 she started at Antwerp Management School a new international Masters in Fashion Management in collaboration with Domus Academy in Milano and FAAP in Sao Paolo. Recently she organized with her team the Responsible Fashion Series in Antwerp. Moreover, she is the chair of the Strategic Advisory Board Culture, Youth, Sports and Media of the Flemish government and also member of the Flemish UNESCO Commission. From 2013 until 2017, she has been the president of ENCATC, the European network on Cultural Management and Cultural Policy Education and Research.
Her interest is primarily focused on the challenges for the cultural and creative sectors locally, nationally and internationally. In recent years, her research has focused on education in fashion management, cultural governance, leadership and entrepreneurship. In her research, she follows often an interdisciplinary approach.
