Charles Harbison, Founder and Creative Director of Harbison Studio, was born in North Carolina, where he first discovered fashion’s transformative power through his mother. After studying architecture, fiber arts, and textile science at North Carolina State University and immersing himself in Central Asian textiles abroad, he trained at Parsons School of Design in New York. His career began in textiles before moving into womenswear at Michael Kors Collection and Billy Reid, later serving as Design Director at Cult Gaia and Emanuel Ungaro. In 2022, he launched Harbison Studio in Los Angeles, an “optimistic luxury” brand rooted in style, play, and sustainability, garnering acclaim from Vogue, the CFDA, and countless Hollywood celebrities.
