
Brian has over 25 years of insurance and risk management experience for small and large corporations and is currently the Director of Risk Management for Coty Inc.
He has assisted various institutions with all aspects of risk management, including the design and implementation of policies and procedures regarding the management of risk, insurance and risk transfer program structuring. Further, Brian has developed risk financing vehicles, including captive insurance programs for the cost-effective management of liability and property risks. These efforts have resulted in savings of millions of dollars in operational costs and liability related expenses.
As the Risk Manager for Coty Inc, Brian has introduced new approaches to managing its risk, including the implementation of new risk management programs, protocols, policies, and procedures. These programs have resulted a significant reduction of Total Cost of Risk as well as allowing Coty the ability to take advantage of alternative risk transfer concepts, without the increase in risk retention.
He has been involved in and managed hundreds of millions of dollars in claims. Brian has managed the adjustment and claims resolution of more than $100 million dollars in property insurance claims related to hurricanes Irma and Maria, including the resolution of complex adjustment of business income losses and resolved complex occurrence-based liability claims that trigger multiple years of liability coverage.
Brian has experience with all types of insurance coverage matters including first party property, commercial general liability, directors and officers’ liability, environmental, cyber, fidelity and crime insurance coverage.
