Tiffany Stevens is the CEO and General Counsel of the Jewelers Vigilance Committee (JVC), the only independent advocate for the highly regulated $20B US jewelry industry.
An active attorney, proven organizational leader and respected counselor, her areas of expertise include Compliance, Advertising, International Public Affairs, Regulatory Issues and Corporate Governance. She presents frequently on US and international legal and regulatory topics including anti-money laundering, ethical sourcing and supply chain transparency among others. The JVC works directly with the State Department, Federal Trade Commission and Treasury advocating on policy; am Vice President of the US Board of Directors of the US Kimberley Process, the international body that prevents trade of conflict diamonds; serve as the Ethics Commission Chair and Responsible Sourcing Vice Chair for CIBJO, the worldwide jewelry congress, and serve on the Boards of the United States Jewelry Council and the Women’s Jewelry Association Foundation.
Tiffany began her career as an attorney at Paul Hastings LLP, later moving to in-house legal & leadership roles in both the private and public sectors, with a focus on the arts and the environment. A graduate of the University of Oklahoma and New York University School of Law, she is a member of the California Bar Association and currently resides in Brooklyn, NY. In her spare time, she enjoys painting.
