Pilar Guzman

Pilar Guzman is an award-winning editor and writer. She is the former Editor-in-Chief of Conde Nast Traveler and Martha Stewart Living, and founding editor of the beloved parenting magazine Cookie. Her Time for Dinner was named in 2020 by The New York Times as one of the top cookbooks that food reporters and editors love. She is the co-author of the forthcoming Patina Modern (Artisan Books, Fall 2022), which traces the history of modern design from the 1930s to 1970s, and the International Correspondent for Travel & Leisure magazine.
As for my title, for the purposes of travel, I have been newly appointed as the “International Correspondent” for Travel & Leisure. Additionally, I am co-authoring a book that traces the history of modern design from the 1930s to the 1970s called Patina Modern, which comes out next fall with Artisan . (FYI, I co-founded a company called The Swell, which is targeted at midlife wellness and you can read about here and here, but just stepped down from my operating role to an advisory role so that I can focus on writing full time.)
