Phillips Nazro

Phillips Nazro is a board member, lecturer, and attorney known for providing practical, commercially-minded counsel to CEOs and business executives and serving as an integral part of the leadership team. Phillips has been in-house for over 20 years, most recently serving as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Assistant Corporate Secretary at LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton-owned Marc Jacobs, the New York-based global fashion and accessories brand. Phillips also served as the head of Human Resources at Marc Jacobs. Prior to Marc Jacobs, Phillips was Vice President and General Counsel at David Yurman, the global fine jewelry and accessories brand. Phillips also served in in-house roles at Yum! Brands, Inc., and Reliant Energy, Inc., and began his legal career as an associate at Vinson & Elkins, LLP, where he worked on domestic and international mergers, acquisitions, and project financing deals. Phillips’ career has focused on taking a leading role and advising clients on corporate, employment, intellectual property, real estate, licensing, contracts, M&A, litigation, and bankruptcy issues both domestically and internationally. Phillips served as a board member for the Jewelers Vigilance Committee and serves as a member of the Advisory Council for the College of Fine Arts at the University of Texas at Austin. Phillips is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law and the University of Virginia.
