Paula Barnes is Senior Counsel with Macy’s, Inc. and serves as a marketing law and retail regulatory law generalist strategically advising her Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s and Bluemercury clients on a variety of retail initiatives. Additionally, she provides guidance on Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, including corporate diversity and inclusion efforts, cause marketing and corporate giving objectives, green marketing and other brand protection matters, as well as negotiating Designer collaboration and other retail agreements. Currently, Ms. Barnes is a member of Macy’s, Inc. Diversity and Inclusion Business Council and Macy’s Strategic Leaders Institute participant. At MetLife, Ms. Barnes was selected to serve as Co-Chair of a sub-committee of the Legal Affairs Diversity Committee, where she managed the sub-committee’s budget and executed events and partnerships strategy. Ms. Barnes has been active in local and national bar associations, public service organizations, and serves as an Adjunct Professor, Fashion Retail Law, at Fordham University School of Law.
