Marion Hume is a journalist and ethical consultant based in London.Over more than two decades, she has interviewed fashion, film and sporting greats from Chanel’s Karl Lagerfeld to 11x surf world champion Kelly Slater. Formerly the editor of Vogue Australia, she was a contributing editor to Time magazine in New York, has served as fashion correspondent of The Independent, The FTand The Sunday Times in London and has been the International Fashion Editor of The Australian Financial Review for 11 years.
For five years, she was senior consultant with the United Nations ITC Ethical Fashion Initiative, connecting top designers including Vivienne Westwood toartisans in Kenya. She continues to work on ethical initiatives within the fashion industry. She is the author of Philip Treacy, the monograph published by Rizzoli in 2015, now in its fourth reprint and among the books selected for HRH The Queen on the occasion ofher 90th Birthday.
