Kevin Mutch

Kevin Mutch, Group Legal Director, Fabergé. Kevin is the Legal Director for this resurrected iconic luxury brand which traces its roots through a dramatic history to 1842. Originally a trademark specialist, Kevin has branched into other areas of commercial and corporate law. He formerly ran his own IP consulting business and was Head of IP and Acting Head of Legal at the former RHM where he managed the protection of well-known British food brands such as Hovis, Mr Kipling, Bisto and Sharwoods. He has worked for City firms FieldFisher and Clifford Chance. He was the first employee of the new Fabergé business and has seen it evolve from the portfolio of trademarks acquired from Unilever by a private equity company in 2007, to a credible player in the international luxury goods industry, now vertically integrated with its parent, Gemfields plc, a coloured gemstone mining company. Kevin enjoys the challenge of providing a solid legal platform for the re-launch of an iconic brand such as Fabergé and being close to the heart of the business. In his spare time, he writes short stories and tears around London on his Harley Davidson.
