Chris Morton

Chris is the founder and CEO of Lyst, the fashion e-commerce destination used by 40 millions shoppers a year, from 180 countries across the world. Lyst partners with the world’s top fashion brands and stores – from Gucci, Balenciaga, Alexander Wang and Burberry to Saks, Lane Crawford and Barneys – to provide people with a personalised way to discover the fashion they love.

Prior to founding Lyst, Chris was an investor at Benchmark Capital and Balderton Capital in London, focusing on the early-stage consumer internet space. Before that, he spent four years in the renewable energy sector, at a start-up and government agency, after receiving an MA in Physics and Philosophy from Cambridge University, where he was a DERA scholar.

Chris is a member of the Executive Council of Internet Week New York and has been a speaker at Harvard Business School, Cambridge University and Oxford University, as well as a number of industry events globally in technology and fashion. He has also been a start-up mentor at programmes including Seedcamp, Launchpad and Launch48.
