Qualified in 1992. In 2007 founded Attorneys at Law Stepanovski, Papakul and partners where he became Managing Partner.

Alexander’s professional experience incorporates legal assistance in relation to the entry of a Russian gas trader into Belarusian gas market in 1996 as well as representation of one of the largest Russian oil transporters in the Economic court in a dispute with the Belarusian tax authorities in 2003-2004.

He advises the representatives of a number of Russian companies on the matters of economic legislation of the Republic of Belarus. As an anti-crises manger he also participated in regulation of numerous insolvency cases.
