Jessica’s practice focuses on international trade, encompassing: sanctions and export controls; customs; anti-bribery and corruption; and tax evasion. She advises global clients across a number of sectors including consumer goods and retail, finance, pharmaceuticals, defence, aviation, energy, and telecommunications. Jessica also advises clients with complex and multijurisdictional supply chains.
She is the lead associate covering Brexit-related developments, analyzing how they will affect the UK’s trading position generally and clients’ businesses specifically and has helped clients to conduct assessments of how Brexit will impact their businesses and assisted in developing tailored Brexit. She conducts training and presents at various seminars, webinars, and conferences on the complexities of Brexit, as well as on international trade matters more generally. She is recommended by Legal 500 for both her Customs and Brexit work, and “for providing ‘on-target’ advice in relation to international trade and anti-bribery work, which encompasses customs, export controls and sanctions matters”.
