Cédric Vanhoeck

Cédric Vanhoeck is Resortecs’ co-founder and Executive Lead. Cédric holds an Industrial Design Engineering bachelor’s degree from TU Delft (The Netherlands) and a Brand Management master’s degree from Domus Academy (Italy). After joining the Antwerp Fashion Academy, he saw first-hand the huge disconnect between fashion and the circular economy. For over 5 years, Cédric has dedicated his time and expertise to using technology to address the environmental challenges of the textile industry.

Dr Dirk Reynders

dr. Dirk Reynders is currently a lecturer and researcher at LUCA School of Arts (Belgium). He lectures about ‘Media Studies’, ‘Visual communication’, ‘Semiotics & Art’.  His research focuses on gender studies & media culture from an inclusive perspective. His interests lay in visual arts, fashion culture and pop culture created by and for various groups .

He is also interested in educational leadership & innovative educational practices. He works internationally in education and was photography chair at the Maastricht Institute of the Arts (Zuyd University, NL) and program director, and developer of the master program intercultural media & innovation. On a part-time basis, he was also connected with the Erasmus University of Rotterdam as seconded professor Visual Arts. He was also a visiting scholar at the City University of New York, University of California Riverside & New York Film Academy campus Los Angeles. In addition, as a networker by heart, he initiated art projects in Barcelona, New York, London, Seoul, Berlin, Brussels, Tokyo, Kobe, Maastricht, Hasselt and Los Angeles.

Danielle Garno

Danielle Garno is a transactional and litigation attorney in Holland & Knight’s Miami office. Ms. Garno focuses her practice on issues faced by the fashion community, including startup phase and commercial advice, intellectual property such as trademark and copyright infringement, social media marketing, licensing, digital assets, advertising and marketing, as well as general business litigation.

Ms. Garno represents luxury brands and fashion clients of all sizes from startups to multinational, global brands, helping them navigate through legal issues as well as counseling them on growing and sustaining a successful brand.

In addition, Ms. Garno has significant experience in handling white collar criminal matters and complex civil fraud cases on behalf of companies and individuals, as well as advising on regulatory and compliance matters. When necessary, she also manages internal investigations and represents clients before state and federal regulatory bodies.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Garno was an attorney in the entertainment and media group for an international law firm in its Miami office.

Ms. Garno has written extensively and lectured all over the United States on topics relating to fashion law and also serves as an adjunct professor in Fashion Law at the University of Miami School of Law.

Vincent Helluy

Vincent Helluy overseas Avisa Partners’ activities against illicit trade, providing clients with services to tackle counterfeiting, piracy, and related IP crimes. Before joining the firm, Vincent led for 12 years Content Protection strategies and operations for a leading European Pay-TV operator. He was responsible for developing international partnerships aiming at strengthening anti-piracy cooperation between the stakeholders of the audiovisual industry: broadcasters, movie studios, sport leagues and big tech companies. To this end, he oversaw the company’s onboarding in international Content Protection endeavors, including the Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment (ACE), and the Audiovisual Anti-Piracy Alliance (AAPA).
