Karla Aspiras

Karla Aspiras is Counsel for Tapestry Inc., the parent company of Coach, Kate Spade and Stuart Weitzman brands. Karla is responsible for global anti-counterfeiting for all brands and develops and implements the global brand protection strategy, and manages civil anti-counterfeiting litigation. Karla is also responsible for the global IP portfolio of all Tapestry brands, including domestic and international prosecution and manages foreign outside counsel for foreign IP matters. She advises the businesses on clearance of product design, packaging, naming, copy and marketing material. She also counsels brand management on a variety of intellectual property and related issues, including advertising, marketing and social media.

Jenny Kim

Jenny Kim is the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Mercari Inc., a c2c marketplace with 50MM downloads in the U.S. She oversees its Legal Affairs, Third Party Brand, HR and Compliance departments. Mercari was founded in 2013 in Japan, where it IPO’d in June of 2018. Jenny joined Mercari with 25-years experience as a corporate attorney representing companies of all sizes, including those in the top 50 of the Fortune 500 list.

Jenny held roles previously with Intel and Visa. At Intel, she was vice president and associate general counsel, responsible for providing legal counsel to C-suite executives in all corporate matters as well as management of SEC and foreign securities reporting, trade and export compliance.

Prior to Intel, Jenny was senior vice president and senior associate general counsel, securities and finance at Visa. She was instrumental in Visa’s global public filings in 2007,

counseling senior management in all aspects of public company compliance, governance, treasury and regulatory matters. Jenny architected Visa’s SOX controls as a public company and worked closely with Visa’s board of directors, serving as ad-hoc secretary to its audit and risk committees.

Asher Levine
