Sinead Martin is an experienced media lawyer who began her career at Dentons advising a broad range of media clients including book, magazine and newspaper publishers, sports organisations, television and film companies and high-profile individuals. Her in-house legal experience includes brand protection, advertising and consumer affairs at Marks & Spencer and at Sky where she also advised Sky News and Five News on contentious news stories. Sinead joined Random House in 2006 as senior publishing lawyer, became Group Legal Director in January 2011 and is currently Group Legal Director of Penguin Random House UK. Sinead was listed as one of the Top 50 Irish lawyers in Britain in 2013 in The Irish Post’s Legal 50 which recognises dedication and accomplishments of Irish leaders in the legal industry across Britain.
