Lorinda J Long

Lorinda Long is a barrister who specialises in the financial services sector. She has worked as an in-house transactional lawyer, Head of Legal and General Counsel for a number of leading institutions such as NatWest, Credit Suisse, Bank of Scotland and Lloyds before joining Bank of America Merrill Lynch in June 2016. Lorinda has been responsible for running all the legal and transaction management aspects of some groundbreaking deals, such as the first “CoCo’s” issued by Lloyds in 2009 and the debut securitisation transaction under the first Italian Securitisation law in the late 1990’s. Lorinda is also the current Treasurer of the Bar Council and a founding member and chairman of the alumni association of the University of Buckingham. One other interesting fact – Lorinda played polo for 15 years!
